On January 11, 2023, the China Machinery Industry Federation and the China General Machinery Industry Association organized an on-site and video conference in Chengdu, Sichuan Province to evaluate the domestically produced product prototype of "NPS24 Class1500 cryogenic top entry trunnion ball valve" jointly developed by the liquefied natural gas receiving station management branch of China National Petroleum and Natural Gas Pipeline Network Group Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Chenggao Valve Co., Ltd.

The appraisal committee is composed of well-known experts from the China Petroleum Society Petroleum Science Popularization Education Committee, Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd., China Petroleum Society Petroleum Storage and Transportation Professional Committee, Lanzhou University of Technology, National Pipeline Network Group Western Pipeline Co., Ltd., National Pipeline Network Group Beihai Liquefied Natural Gas Co., Ltd., National Pipeline Network (Tianjin) Liquefied Natural Gas Co., Ltd., Southwest Branch of China Petroleum Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. and other companies. Representatives attending the meeting include China Machinery Industry Federation, China General Machinery Industry Association, National Pipeline Group LNG Receiving Station Management Branch, National Pipeline Group Tianjin LNG Co., Ltd., Hefei Tong ‘an Engineering Machinery Equipment Supervision Co., Ltd., and other companies.

Experts and representatives attending the meeting inspected the production and testing sites, witnessed some performance tests of the products, listened to the company's development summary report, reviewed relevant technical documents, and conducted detailed technical inquiries and discussions.

Finally, experts from the appraisal committee unanimously believed that the cryogenic top entry trunnion ball valve developed by Chengdu Chenggao Valve Co., Ltd. has independent intellectual property rights, and its main technical parameters and performance indicators have reached the advanced level of similar international products. The appraisal committee unanimously approved the appraisal.

Subsequently, experts and representatives visited the CHV's digital center, and Chairman Ding Qi gave a relevant introduction. Visiting experts and representatives affirmed the achievements CHV has made in digital construction in recent years.
