From January 18th to 19th, 2024, our company was fortunate to host a seminar on valve quality improvement in the field of oil and gas pipeline engineering construction. The two-day seminar was successfully held in the east area of the CHV. This seminar brought together specially invited experts, national pipeline network construction and management companies, national pipeline network group operating units, design units, supervision units, and representatives of domestic valve peers.

On the afternoon of the 18th, attendees, accompanied by the CHV's chairman Ding Qi, general manager Zhang Jun, chief engineer Zeng Pinqi, deputy general manager Gong Wangjun and Ding Ke, deputy chief engineers Zeng Heyou and Xu Shifa, and director of the pipeline valve research institute Mu Yanyun, conducted in-depth research on the production and manufacturing situation of the CHV's western and eastern campus, as well as the digital center. The attendees had a thorough discussion on the layout of various sections in the production workshop, the design concept of valves, internal structure, and production quality control. They provided valuable suggestions on the design concept of valves, conducted in-depth research on the internal structure, and proposed suggestions for improving production quality control.

On the 19th, the seminar officially began with brainstorming. The meeting first reported on valve quality issues that have occurred in recent years and conducted valve quality control training. Our Deputy Chief Engineer Zeng Heyou shared our company's experience in valve quality control and provided a detailed introduction to the CHV's quality management system, including the full process control from design, production, testing to delivery. He emphasized that the company attaches great importance to quality issues and stated that every effort will be made to ensure that the valves comply with the quality standard system when leaving the factory. Subsequently, representatives of the participating companies exchanged their experiences and insights, forming a productive interaction. The attendees unanimously agreed that quality issues should not be underestimated and require the joint participation of suppliers, regulators, and construction parties in supervision to ensure the smooth progress of oil and gas pipeline construction.

The entire seminar was conducted in a tense and fulfilling atmosphere, providing valuable experience sharing and professional suggestions for promoting valve quality improvement. Participants actively discussed feasible improvement plans in the future, aiming to achieve a higher quality level in the valve field. This seminar established a communication platform for all parties in the industry, promoted the continuous improvement of valve quality in the field of oil and gas pipeline engineering construction, and injected new vitality into the sustainable development of the industry.
